Create the live USB to install the system

Download the ISO from https://manjaro-sway.download/ and write it to the usb.

dd if=~/Downloads/image.iso of=/dev/sdX

Note

I use ventoy to have a bootable USB with multiple ISOs.

In order to boot it is necessary to disable secure boot on the BIOS. To enter the BIOS, press F2 when starting the computer. When BIOS shows up, go to the boot submenu and disable there the toggle that reads Enable Secure Boot.

Startup Key Actions

F2 Launch Firmware Interface
F12 Show Boot Menu

Choose to boot with GUI

Once you booted, follow the installation steps. Ensure you choose to encrypt the system.
